14 Best of 2014: Beauty

This is late on the game, I know. But, I still wanted to get it out there! Here are the products:

What I Got For Christmas 2014: Fashion & Jewelry

I got a lot of Jewelry this Christmas and it was awesome! Here is what I got:

I like this green/teal/blue statement necklace. It feels like beachy/oceany to me.

This necklace is one of my favorites because it is hand-blown glass. I like the colors because it can go with just about anything.

This one has an aztec vibe to me that I love. I love the pink/light pink combination because it makes the piece feel feminine in contrast to it's geometric shapes.

This is probably the least "matchy" jewelry piece in my entire collection. I love that the flowers are different but, the colors and gemstones tie them together. I will definitely have to get used to wearing this but, it is growing on me!

This necklace is just me! It's simple and has my favorite color teal in it. In real life, it looks much more green but, I couldn't get it to show up on camera.

This long pink chain is beautiful! I think this could go with many different outfits because it is so simple and sleek.

I LOVE this earrings. Pearls are one of my favorite things to wear and I find this go well with a lot of the clothes I own. Definitely a great present.

This go with the teal, teardrop necklace above. It is much more green in real life, but, my camera was doing some really weird things so it looks really blue.

These earrings are great. I love the turquoise, gold mixture. I think these earrings are best to wear by themselves than with a necklace because they are statements enough.

These are so great! They're simple but great! I love the color and I have a ton of blue clothes to go with these.

I really don't own a lot of braclets (maybe 1 or 2) so this was a nice addition to my jewelry. I have really small wrists so it is hard for me to find "one size fits all" bracelets that actually fit. Luckily this one did!

Adjustable bracelets are my best friend so I was happy to see this one under the tree! The brown leather look and gold studs adds edge to any outfit I might make.

I am growing up and with age comes internships and jobs. During the summer, I will be interning for an biomedical engineering firm so I need professional attire. A classic black blazer is always a necessity.

I like this top very much because I don't have to worry about accessories too much because the top already has a great print!

This shirt is great for work or on the weekend. I love wearing it with jeans and flats!

A classic pencil skirt will be great for any work outfit! I love it so much with the blazer that I got!

What I Got For Christmas 2014: Food

CHOCOLATE!! I love chocolate and my family truly understands that! Here is all of it together:

Milk, Dark and White Chocolate? Ummmm yes please! I love Godiva Truffles so much! These are sweet and creamy and a nice little treat to have at the end of a long school day!

This is a fantastic combination! I love the minty, sweet mix that makes them feel quite refreshing.

These is one of the first "luxury" chocolate candy I ever got. I love these because they are a great size and shape to just pop in your mouth. The filling on these are more creamy and milky than Godiva.

Dark chocolate is my favorite so this was much appreciated!!

If there was ever a candy that reminded me of the beach, this is it! I love the sweet & salty mix!

Rice Crispies & Chocolate?? I love these so much because they are the upscale version of one of my favorite treats as a kid!

These are interesting and I am not sure how to feel. The are potato chips, pretzels and chocolate chunks. I mean, don't get me wrong, they're fantastic but, the texture is something to get used to.

No, just, no. I like myself some dark chocolate but 85% Cocoa is too much. This will be used for fondue and some sugar will be added.

Florida has had a cold front the last few days so Hot Chocolate was consumed in large quantities. I love these because they feel like real chocolate (they are from target and cost $1 a piece). I like both of these because they are a sweet & salty kind of mix.

What could ever be in this beautiful pink bag??

SNACKS THAT'S WHAT!!

This cutey has Hershey's Kisses in him.

I'm a college student who lives in a dorm with a community kitchen on the floor but not in my suite. Sometimes it is really hard to justify leaving the comfort of my room to go cook dinner. These snacks come in handy a lot when I'm hungry!

Chocolate is beautiful! And so are cookies! I love what I got!

Money is always appreciated! Starbucks is a great asset for any college student to stay awake during all nighters. A good pedicure can really turn your day around!

This is one of my favorite Christmases ever! What did you get? Any cool or weird gifts? Comment down below!!

What I Got For Christmas 2014: Miscellaneous

This is a lot of miscellaneous items that I got for Christmas that have no particular category. Here they are:

Best Chapstick product I have ever used! I feels really moisturizing and the scent is quite present. I prefer this type compared to my EOS because they take up a lot less space and I can carry it in my pocket if I would like. It's a clear product and applies smoothly. I doesn't feel waxy or uncomfortable.

I really needed hair ties. I loose them so often so this was appreciated. College towns have some uncleanly places so clorox wipes are much appreciated. I love a good loofah sponge and my one for college was wearing down so this was very needed. The car charger is amazing because I cannot tell you how many times my cell battery has been low and I needed a quick charge. I love the color too!

My family had it right this year! This is an extra battery for your phone to put in your purse or backpack in case of emergency! I love it and it works really well.

This is the new thing and at home spa care. I think it works really well and my feet feel really soft after. The bar on it is rough enough to smooth the skin out put not too rough that it will hurt your foot.

Softest cover ever! My mom got this throw for my dorm room and I love it. It is great to use on those hot nights in Florida when the temp. in my room is 76 (but feels much higher). The color is also great and matches my dorm quite well.

This is the creme de la creme of Christmas presents. I LOVE this scent SOOOOOO much. The Viva La Juicy Noir is probably the best perfume I have ever smelled. It is really sweet yet still sophisticated.

Ulta Beauty Haul

I went to Ulta back in the December with two products in mind eyeliner and facial masks. As you can see, I did get what I intended but, I also got a few extras. Opps! Here is my haul in one pictures:

If you have never tried these masks before, they are absolutely amazing!! They have many different types of products including for dry skin, oily skin and acne prone skin. Below I have the Mint & Lemon and Chocolate & Strawberry masks. The Mint & Lemon mask is for acne prone skin and I have used this about 2 times a week for about 3 weeks now and have noticed a clear differences in the smoothness, feel and look of my skin. I wear makeup basically everyday so products like these really help keep my skin in check. The Chocolate & Strawberry is great for those days when my skin feels a little dry because it moisturizes and tones (which is rare since I have oily skin). I don't use this one as much but, it would be perfect for someone with dry skin.

Ulta had a 5 for $10 stocking stuffers table and I couldn't resist. The nail art was probably the one I was most excited for! I have never used nail studs before so it will be interesting to test it out. The Reed Diffuser smelled like cough syrup so I wasn't too happy about it but I'll let it diffuse out till it is done. That kabuki brush is deceiving. You're probably thinking "wow that must be a crappy brush". Yes it's blue, yes it's synthetic, yes it looks like it's made for my 5 year old cousin but, it is the best $2 brush you could probably ever buy. It has a decent density to it and the brush is extremely soft. I'm talking Real Techniques soft (if you have tried them, it feels like the buffing brush in the core collection). I am very happy with this brush and I think I'll try and seek this out next year.

A makeup travel brush set is something I have looked for quite some time now. This comes with a powder, eye shadow, liner and angled liner brush. The sleek metal container is comes in is soooooo pretty and matches my purse really well! I love it!

This Ulta trio is actually really great! I think Ulta may have reformulated their eye shadows because I have noticed a better quality altogether of their eye shadows. These have a decent pigmentation, very little fallout and are easy to blend. The purple/taupe shade in the middle is absolutely stunning and my favorite of the three. It is a shade you could wear by itself. These do need primers to stay all day but, it is worth it. The trio is all shimmers so if that is not something you like then this trio is not for you.

Mally Beauty Eyeliners are spectacular! This includes 5 shades: black, brown, plum, green and an almond. The pigmentation is beautiful and one swipe is all you need to achieve it. To me, these are literally butter in a pencil form because I have never found them to tug at my eyelids or cause irritation to my lid. This set was originally $40 but I was able to snag it for $28. Considering they are $15 a piece, that's not a bad deal at all!

Napoleon Perdis is a brand Ulta recently put at 75% off because I believe they are getting rid of the line at their stores. I picked up a lipstick for $6.75 and I like it a lot. It is not my favorite lipstick ever but, it has decent pigmentation and isn't drying. This has a frosted look to it which I kinda am not the biggest fan of. I like matte, semi-matte or shiny finishes.

What do you think of these products? Have you picked up any items recently? Let me know in the comments below!!
