Julep Giveaway Box

If you have never heard of Julep, you should really check them out! I won this Kiss & Makeup (get the pun?) set from a giveaway during the 12 days of Christmas livestreams that Julep was doing for the Holidays! This set can only be bought by Mavens in the Secret store at the moment. If you are a Julep Maven like I am, I would HIGHLY recommend it. For $19.99, you get $104 of makeup! 

The first thing that comes in the set is a makeup bag. This isn't a tiny little bag that comes in Ipsy. This is a large one that would be amazing for travel! The main part of the bag has a zipper pocket and two other pockets to help for separation and there is also a large, side zipper pocket for smaller products! The value of this bag is $24.00! I think the original price of this bag is a little much but, buying it in a set is totally worth it!

Here are all the other products I received:

The Plush Pout Lip Crayon is my FAVORITE. It has the feel of a lip balm with the opacity of a lipstick. The color is very beautiful!! The only thing is that Julep only has 4 shades at the moment but, they really should release more! This shade is Magenta Plum. They also have Almond Nude, Aurora Pink and Cardinal Red. This product is $20 but, Julep has sets with this product so it is easy to buy it for much cheaper.

This lipgloss in Posh is a gorgeous shade that compliments the Magenta Plum Plush Pout incredibly well! The lipgloss is not sticky feeling,it does not travel outside the lines and looks quite opaque. The lipglosses are also $20 a piece but, just like the plush pout, it is very easy to find a great set with them in it.

The Julep Volumizing Mascara is something I still haven't used. At the moment, I have a ton of mascara that is unopened so, I will update you ladies on this later. I included a picture of what the wand looks like. To mean it seems like it would separate pretty well and give lots of volume but, only time will tell. This product is not on the Julep Website anymore as a separate item but, I believe is used to be $24.00.
